Seminary Street Historic Commercial District
is one of the Midwest's stunning success stories in downtown restoration and revitalization. Since its evolution from a single retail shop in 1968 to one of Illinois' most celebrated small districts, Seminary Street has been synonymous with originality and entrepreneurship. Once nearly abandoned, the two block area now thrives with restaurants, a bakery, winery, pub, over twenty distinctive specialty shops, and the Galesburg Railroad Museum.
